Tim Craven, Four-Time Emmy Award-Winning Record Producer, Recording Engineer, and Musician (Nashville, TN)
Tim Craven is an American record producer, recording engineer, and musician. Born in Los Angeles, raised in St. Louis, and educated at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Tim started his career at Syncro Sound Studios, working with producers Maurice Starr and Donnie Wahlberg, engineer Perry Geyer, and The Cars keyboardist Greg Hawkes. After graduating from Berklee, Tim worked as a re-recording film mixer and sound designer at the famed NFL Films studios located just outside Philadelphia. During his eight years at NFL Films, Tim was awarded four national Emmy Awards®, nine Emmy Award® nominations, and two International Monitor Awards® for his work with HBO, ESPN, Sony Pictures the Philadelphia Film Festival. In 2003, Tim moved to Nashville, TN, to pursue his passion for music. With twenty years in the Music City, he has enjoyed making records with such artists as Patty Larkin, Josh Ritter, Erin McCarley, ROAR!, Jeff Adamczyk, Peyton Rodeffer, Boys Club For Girls, Hannah Bethel, and Liz Kate, as well as touring as the FOH mix engineer for Josh Ritter, Brothers Osborne, Kacey Musgraves and Death From Above. As a composer, Tim has secured worldwide sync placements with MTV, CMT, Ford Motor Company, Sony Pictures, and others.
