Julian Fuentes, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese Translator (Xalapa de Enriquez, Mexico)
Julian was born in Xalapa, the capital city of Veracruz, Mexico. He has dedicated most of his life to languages. He started to learn English when he learned how to read, then added German, Italian and Portuguese during his teen years. Since then he has not stopped and has studied around 12 languages, including Romanian, Swedish, Czech, Mexican Sign language and two Mexican languages spoken in his region: Náhuatl and Tutunaku. Because of his love for languages, he became a polyglot and a professional linguist, and has worked as a freelance translator for over 9 years. He is capable of translating from and to Spanish, English, Brazilian Portuguese and Italian. He is currently studying Japanese and Turkish. He is also a proficient phonetician. He loves music, boardgames and video-games too. His love for languages has always been supported by his love for music and video-games. He collects (and listens to) vinyl records, especially progressive rock records. He also likes hiking, traveling, playing with his cat and swimming. His dream is to work localizing video-games and learning how to code so he can step into AI and NLP.
