Welcome to the World Community Network (WCN)! Join us in creating a blueprint for a new world of harmony and abundance. Our 77-person team now spans six continents and communicates in 57 languages. Behind the scenes, we are very busy developing systems for the web and via a mobile app that will inspire and enable us to connect, communicate, and take collective actions together. The first version of our mobile app for iOS is finished! We are now preparing to migrate to AWS to support much higher web traffic. Mary Madeiras, Three-Time Emmy Award-Winning Director/Writer/Producer (Ojai, CA USA)

Mary Madeiras’ diverse experience as a network television director spans the best in class of the leading television networks in news, sports, talk shows and daytime dramas in New York and Los Angeles. Throughout her career, Mary has been responsible for nearly one half of one billion dollars in best-in-class broadcast and advertising budgets. Her distinctive talents culminated in Emmy Award-winning direction for seven US daytime dramas for CBS, ABC and NBC. Mary received two Emmy awards for outstanding direction at ABC and NBC in addition to a Directors Guild of America award at NBC. She won her third Emmy Award for her work on the NBC Olympic games in Seoul, Korea. Mary directed numerous shows at CBS, among them CBS This Morning, a daily live two-hour broadcast with Charlie Rose, Gayle King and Norah O'Donnell and The Morning Program, CBS News’ innovative live morning talk show starring Mariette Hartley. She spent ten years at CBS Network News in New York, where, as an Associate Director and Director she became a team leader in global newsgathering and quickly learned the value of powerful storytelling. Earlier in her career, Mary was a staff Associate Director for CBS Sports and the NFL in New York where she was responsible for more than $125M in television advertisements. She worked as a director at MTV International and on music and dance productions for Tatge Productions in New York. Moving to film, Mary directed her first short film, Water Balloon, which was submitted to film festivals. As a writer, she has written several screenplays and two television series, now in pre-development, and also works today as a script consultant. Mary studied acting at the Practical Aesthetics Acting Workshop and the Actors Playhouse in New York City and shortly after, directed her first play, Savage in Limbo at the Acting Studio in New York. She began her career at John Blair and Company, a top New York rep firm that specialized in buying and selling television advertising time for CBS, NBC, and ABC affiliated stations across the US. Working directly with an account executive, she managed contracts totaling more than $100M. Mary is a skilled editor in Adobe Premier Pro and applies her editing skills today in a variety of her projects. A native New Yorker, she graduated from Manhattanville College in New York, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. Her music continues to be a driving force in her career.
